The Whitehorse Affordable Family Housing program offers on-site support and community-building activities for tenants living in the four buildings at 60 Selkirk Street.
Key goals include empowering parents and children through regular workshops and activities, addressing specific needs such as after-school programming, and fostering trust within the community. A coordinator, along with assistants, delivers programming five days a week, including craft activities, workshops, and food-related events.
This initiative is funded by the Women and Gender Equity Directorate.
