HomeLink

HomeLink connects families and seniors in need of affordable housing with local landlords.

About HomeLink

HomeLink works to create successful tenancies by connecting families and seniors with Housing Providers, reducing barriers to housing, and offering supports that benefit both sides.

Through strong partnerships, HomeLink helps match tenants with suitable rental units and provides ongoing resources to ensure long-term stability. Housing Providers receive peace of mind through tools like unit inspections, regular check-ins, and access to a Damage Mitigation Fund. Tenants gain support in maintaining their homes, advocating for their housing rights, and building positive relationships with landlords.

HomeLink is built on respect, communication, and shared responsibility. By working together, tenants and housing providers can create homes that last—strengthening our community and contributing to solutions for Yukon’s housing crisis.

HomeLink is housed under the Yukon Anti-Poverty Coalition and is funded by Reaching Home, a Government of Canada program.

All potential tenants for HomeLink  must be on the By-Name List. Individuals can be added to the list by completing an intake through Safe at Home or any participating agencies.
